Dahlonega on the square

This is a shop front in Dahlonega, GA..and yes i spelled that right. I spent four years going to college at North Ga. This is another pen and ink w/ photoshop airbrush.

Mr. Finley

This is Mr. Finley. I have no idea who he is. My brother had me draw him for his work. I even got paid. who knew? anyway, I love drawing people and i have spent a good portion of my time just messing around by drawing my teachers and the people that were in my class or now my bosses during endless meetings at work. If you are reading this and I work for you, i did that at my last job. Anyway, for this drawing, I sketched it from the picture and scanned it into photoshop. There i just airbrushed it which i think turned out to be pretty neat looking.

Random beach house. There's a lot of add-lib in here. Also, i did add a warming filter in photoshop. Thought it looked kind of cool.

Lake House

This is my grandparents lake house. I grew up going here and tomorrow i might be there again! Jen and I lived here for 6 months when we got married. I used a ball point pen on this one.

Here we go

FYI, I probably won't comment on every pic, but if there is some interesting fact about it, I'll say a few things maybe. I did the above picture during corporate training over the course of a week. I love old barns and rustic type things which you will see as we go on.

The sailboats came from a photo I took in Charleston, SC and I modified it and came up with what you see here. By the way..I love sailing.

Welcome to my blog!

This is an online gallery of my artwork. I created this site in efforts to keep track of my own personal 'creations' and even share with a select few. There are probably three mediums I use collectively and individually. First are my Pen and Ink drawings which are by far my favorite. Second are pencil drawings. Lastly, combining the first two into Photoshop and giving them some color is the third medium i have found myself. Also, I play with some photography on and off, so a doctored up Photoshop picture will find itself in here occasionally.
My guess is you will find a lot of random genres as well as sporadic pieces, which perhaps gives you insight into a little bit of who I am. Many artists have a single honed in style and are known for a certain types of art but I feel I am across the board in subject matter. This may be perceived as someone who is not serious about their art, but I don't really care. I'm not a professional, some of my stuff really sucks and other pieces are pretty good. I love art and its fun to create it. And so I will document my interest of creating art in this blog.
Lastly, if you are reading this, I actually would love to get some advise on how I can improve as an artist. Your critiques are not viewed as insults. Happy viewing!
